Enviornmental Medicine

The interdependent relationship between human beings and the environment is well recognized but often ignored. Common sense tells us that the health of all living things depends on the health of our planet.

After centuries of polluting our air, water, and soil, people (and other living creatures) are paying the price in the form of toxic exposures. Air we breathe, water we drink, food we grow and harvest, as well as high levels of stress in our daily lives, are all sources of toxic exposure leading to acute and chronic illnesses. These toxic exposures also contribute to the growing ineffectiveness of current medical treatments. Unfortunately, pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and many, many more chemicals are a part of our daily work and lives and are very difficult to avoid, thus exposing all of us to one degree or another.

At Oaktree Wellness Center, we recognize this problem and have undergone specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses due to toxic exposures. We are experienced in the various methods of detecting harmful substances in the body and methods to help detoxify and cleanse exposed individuals.
